We as SPE were very pleased to welcome 2 honored guests from DEA in Leoben. Mr. Moritz Pirker is an alumnus of our Alma Mater, and Mr. Christoph Schlichter is Vice President of Production in North Africa.
In customary manner, Mr. Schlichter presented their company’s philosophy, the technologies they use and DEA’s future goals as well as possibilities how to start a professional life with DEA.
Afterwards, Moritz Pirker gave a very personal insight into his first years after graduation. He has been able to look back on a broad range of work experience, which gave the students in the audience a small glimpse of what could come after graduating University.
There were a lot of questions from the audience which were either answered right away or in pleasant atmosphere with some refreshments at the restaurant “Greif”.
We thank DEA for visiting Leoben and we are already looking forward to next years’ presentation.
